Dr. Kristen Garubba is a licensed marriage and family therapist who works with a variety of populations: children, teens, and adults. She takes a special interest in trauma, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, fertility issues complex PTSD, and family relational issues.

Kristen uses a variety of treatment approaches, including CBT, psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, and EMDR.

She is an Adjunct Professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology where she teaches graduate students at the Masters and Doctorate levels about the techniques and skills needed as they train to become therapists in the field.

Kristen brings with her long-standing experience in the field and holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, and a Doctorate in Educational and Counseling Psychology both of which are from Argosy University.
